A Most Singular Occurance
March 19, 2005

A funny thing happened on the way to lunch Saturday... Maybe that's how this page of pictures should start out. I was attending the Grand Master's One Day Class at our Grand Lodge in Burlington Saturday when RW Russell Mitchell stopped me to introduce me to someone to whom I might be related. We couldn't immediately find him so I went on to lunch. While relaying the story to Nestor I mentioned that I believed I had a brother who went by the name of Michael Tucker but I had never met him. The gentleman in front of me turned and said "I'm Michael Tucker". We were both a bit dumbfounded at the realization that each knew of the existence of the other but never expected to actually meet. Not only meet but find they were both Masons. And to complete the story, his father, my father, was a resident of the Masonic Home just a few short feet down the way from the Grand Lodge building. As we say in Masonry, "This is a very singular occurence". So here are pictures of James Michael Tucker, Michael Lee Tucker and James Foster Tucker. When all of this settles down, I intend to write it up with a bit more info and background.
